The Sindh Food Authority (SFA) has instructed a private company to recall 11 different snack products from the market because they failed safety tests conducted by a food testing lab at the University of Karachi.

The products in question include Slanty Vegetable, Snackers Hot Masala, Snackers Pizza, Twitch Classic, Potato Sticks, Cheese Ball Masala, Cheese Balls Cheese, Kai Korean Hot, Kai Spicy Mala, Kai Mala Wok, and Kai Korean Kimchi.

The SFA has given the company a strict deadline of three days to remove these items from shelves. If the company does not comply, they could face legal action.

The recall comes after the company applied to register 24 snack products with the SFA, but half of them did not meet the required safety and quality standards.

The SFA highlighted that these products pose health risks to consumers and violate the Sindh Food Authority Act.

This action by the SFA is part of their ongoing effort to ensure that all food products available in the market are safe for consumption and meet strict health standards.

The SFA has emphasized the importance of food safety and quality, and this recall serves as a reminder to other companies about the consequences of not adhering to food safety regulations.

Consumers are advised to check if they have any of these products at home and avoid consuming them.

The SFA continues to work diligently to protect public health and ensure that only safe and high-quality food products are available in the market.

This recall highlights the need for rigorous testing and compliance with food safety standards to prevent health hazards and maintain consumer trust.
