Thanks to the support of the National Association of the Blind (Kafeef) in Riyadh, forty-two blind men and women were able to successfully perform the Hajj pilgrimage this year. Accompanied by their aides, these visually impaired pilgrims completed all the rituals of Hajj, including the stoning of the Jamarat and the Tawaf Al Widaa (Farewell Circumambulation).
The National Association of the Blind’s Manasik program aims to make the sacred journey more accessible and comfortable for visually impaired individuals by providing comprehensive services.
Abdul Aziz Al Mubarak, the Director of Administrative and Financial Affairs at Kafeef, praised the efforts of Saudi Arabia’s leadership and authorities for organizing a successful Hajj this year. He emphasized the importance of enabling individuals with visual impairments to participate in such significant spiritual experiences.
To ensure personalized assistance, the 42 beneficiaries and their companions were divided into three groups during the pilgrimage.This year, the Hajj pilgrimage took place from June 26 to July 7.
