Elon Musk, the person in charge of Tesla and SpaceX, is encouraging everyone to explore space more, like having a base on the Moon and even making cities on Mars.
He’s kind of bummed that it’s been 50 years since people last landed on the Moon, especially considering how big a deal it was when it first happened in 1969 with Apollo 11.
Musk thinks we shouldn’t stop there and that going to the Moon and Mars should be just the beginning, not the best we can do as a civilization.
