Popular Pakistani TikToker and YouTuber Zulqarnain Sikandar recently disclosed that he incurred a loss of Rs. 2 crore in a trading venture. In a podcast appearance with his wife, Kanwal Aftab, Sikandar revealed that he invested in trading on the advice of a friend who used to earn money from it.
Initially, they lost Rs. 3.1 million. Sikandar’s elder brother and wife were both against continuing with the venture. However, his friend convinced him that losses were normal in trading and encouraged him to invest more. Unfortunately, things did not go as planned, and they eventually lost a total of Rs. 20 million.
Sikandar admitted that greed got the best of him, and he invested all the money in his account and convinced his younger brother to do the same. The loss was devastating for the family, and they received the news while performing Umrah.
Reflecting on the experience, Sikandar emphasized the importance of educating oneself about trading before getting involved in it. He advised people to understand the intricacies of trading and the risks involved before embarking on such ventures.
