The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government has announced a new free meal program for primary schools in the public sector. This initiative aims to provide free meals to children attending primary schools in urban areas of all divisional headquarters across the province.
The decision was made during a meeting in Peshawar, led by Chief Minister Ali Amin Khan Gandapur. Initially, the program will be tested in Abbottabad and Swat, with plans to extend it to other divisional headquarters in the future.
Around 70,000 children are expected to benefit from this program. They will receive nutritious meals every day, which will help improve their health and learning.
