PIA has announced a major fare reduction for flights to Saudi Arabia, effective immediately. On Monday, the national carrier revealed that it has slashed the fares for flights from Karachi to Jeddah and Madinah by a significant 30%.
Under this new pricing, the one-way ticket from Karachi to Jeddah or Madinah is now set at Rs 56,000, inclusive of all taxes. For those looking to book a round trip, the fare is now Rs 88,000. This fare reduction is a welcomed move, especially for those planning to travel to Saudi Arabia for Umrah.
A spokesperson for PIA stated that these discounted fares are available for immediate purchase and will remain on offer until August 31, 2024. Travelers can use these tickets for journeys scheduled up to September 30, 2024. This initiative is particularly aimed at providing financial relief to Pakistani pilgrims traveling to Madinah for Umrah.
