Pakistan is set to host the South Asian Cross Country Athletics Championship for the first time ever. The event will take place on November 24 in Islamabad, and the Pakistan Sports Board has given the Athletics Federation of Pakistan the official go-ahead with a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
Athletes from several South Asian countries, including Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and the Maldives, will compete. The Government of Pakistan has given clearance for all teams, including India, to participate, showing a commitment to regional sports cooperation.
