The Punjab Seed Corporation (PSC) has announced new job openings for eligible male and female candidates under its development project titled “Quality Seed Production and Dissemination” as part of the Agriculture Transformation Plan. The positions available are for Accounts Officer and Driver, both on a contractual basis with a market-based salary.
Available Positions and Requirements
The Punjab Seed Corporation is inviting applications for the following positions:
- Accounts Officer
- Number of Posts: One (1)
- Qualifications: Candidates must hold an M.Com or MBA in Finance (or equivalent degree) from a Higher Education Commission (HEC) recognized institution.
- Experience: Applicants should have at least 4 years of experience in either the public or private sector.
- Age Limit: Up to 35 years.
- Driver
- Number of Posts: Four (4)
- Qualifications: Applicants must have a Matriculation certificate and hold a valid Light Transport Vehicle (LTV) license. Preference will be given to local residents.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of overall driving experience.
- Age Limit: Up to 40 years.
Application Process and Deadline
Interested candidates can apply through the following steps:
- Application Form: Candidates should download the prescribed application form from psc.agripunjab.gov.pk and submit it, along with their CV, three recent passport-size photographs, and attested copies of CNIC, certificates, and degrees. Applications must be addressed to the Director of Administration, Punjab Seed Corporation, Lahore.
- Online Application: Applicants can also apply at www.jobs.punjab.gov.pk. However, a hard copy of the application along with all required documents must be submitted to the PSC office.
- Submission Deadline: All applications must be received by November 25, 2024. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.
Important Terms and Conditions
Candidates should note the following terms for the job positions:
- Contract Nature: These positions are contract-based and are initially offered for one year, extendable based on performance. The positions are non-transferable, non-pensionable, and do not offer regularization.
- Age Relaxation: No upper age relaxation is permitted.
- Government Employees: Those already employed in government or semi-government sectors must apply through the proper channels.
- Selection and Eligibility: Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for a test or interview, and no travel allowance will be provided for these. The PSC will display a list of eligible candidates on its website before the interview.
Candidates are also advised that any false information in the application will result in disqualification, and only eligible candidates will be selected according to the contract appointment policy of 2004. A list of successful candidates will be posted on the PSC website, along with the issuance of appointment letters.
