The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has unveiled a new Summer Internship Program for the year 2025, inviting BS and MS students from Pakistan and Azad Jammu & Kashmir to gain valuable experience. The internship, hosted at the SBP headquarters in Karachi, will run for six weeks from June 23 to August 1, 2025, providing participants with a firsthand look into the workings of the central bank.

This program is designed to help students bridge the gap between academic studies and real-world applications. Interns will work across various departments within the bank, learning about financial operations and central banking processes. Who Can Apply?
Eligible candidates must be
- Pakistani or AJK nationals holding a valid CNIC, NICOP, or Pakistani passport.
- Students should be either in their third year of a four-year bachelor’s degree or enrolled in a master’s program.
- Applicants from a range of academic fields are welcome, including but not limited to Economics, Business Administration, Public Administration, Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Mathematics, Statistics, Human Resources, Agriculture, Media Sciences/Mass Communication, and Information Systems & Technology.
- A strong academic record is required, with students meeting the minimum criteria of 70% marks or a comparable CGPA.

The application must include all necessary documents, such as attested academic transcripts, identification proofs, domicile certificates, and a recent photograph.
