The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance is starting a special program called the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Program for Iftar in 61 countries during Ramadan. This program will provide iftar meals to more than one million people through religious offices at Saudi embassies. The goal is to support those in need and help Muslims break their fast during the holy month.
The Minister, Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif Al Alsheikh, expressed his deep gratitude to King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for their dedication to helping less fortunate people. He emphasized that their commitment to serving Islam and supporting Muslims around the world is especially meaningful during Ramadan, a time of worship, generosity, and compassion.
To ensure the success of this initiative, the ministry has worked closely with religious attachés and cultural centers in different countries, setting aside the necessary funds for the project. This program is part of Saudi Arabia’s ongoing efforts to spread unity, kindness, and generosity among Muslims worldwide. By providing iftar meals, the kingdom hopes to bring people together and make Ramadan a little easier for those who are struggling.
