A Facebook glitch reported from Sri Lanka, Philippines, and Bangladesh occurred on Friday, where friend requests were sent to every Facebook profile, users visited. People from these countries took to their twitter accounts and complained about the bug, having security concerns as well as some joked about the issue.
Meanwhile, some people were worried as they cannot stalk friends on Facebook, and some were trying to block an account when friend request was sent automatically.
Facebook took the action straight away, fixed it, and apologized as well. While reporting to The Daily Beast, they confirmed that they have fixed the bug produced during an update and it will not happen again. They apologized for the inconvenience caused to the people owing to the glitch.
