iPhone prices are likely to hike in the wake of the upcoming budget by government. As per the resources, the prices of imported phones including iPhones worth more than $100 (PKR 28, 562.50) will increase as the Federal government will increase the duty on imported mobile phones.
All the luxury items including iPods, headphones, speakers, chocolates, and household items like chandeliers and bulbs will face an increase in import duty. The tax on cosmetics will remain at 25%.
All iPhone lovers who were thinking to purchase one or upgrade from their previous model should buy one immediately before the announcement of the budget, as the prices are expected to skyrocket.
