Naseem Shah, Pakistan’s young fast bowler, has denied the news of his alleged engagement.
Naseem Shah is currently competing in the English League T20 Vitality Blast, and news of his engagement has been circulating on social media for some time.
In this regard, the fast bowler himself had denied these rumors via his Instagram story, but Naseem Shah has now discussed the matter once more in a special conversation with Geo News.
Naseem Shah stated, “All the rumors of my engagement are completely false because nothing occurred; I don’t understand why everyone is so interested in my engagement or marriage?” Why do people suddenly focus on their marriages and engagements instead of their cricket performance?’
‘I only got a chance to play a few games, which was a good experience, and I am happy with my performance,’ the fast bowler said of his participation in the English league.
Naseem Shah has played four T20 Blast matches for Leicestershire Foxes so far.
The national bowler performed admirably, taking three wickets in four matches while conceding only 112 runs at an average of 7.46 runs per over.
Naseem added, “My focus is now on all of the opportunities that will come my way, including the Test series in Sri Lanka.”
He stated that I will soon attend the Pakistan Cricket Board’s special cricket camp at the National Cricket Academy in Lahore. Hopefully, our preparation will be finished in time for the World Cup.
