As per the reports 2025 Champions Trophy will be moved to the Caribbean and the venue for hosting the 2024 T20 World Cup might be changed from West Indies and USA to Scotland and Ireland. The talks are not confirmed yet and have been done verbally.
Moreover, the venue is shifted as the United Kingdom can host matches only in the May and June period therefore, Scotland and Ireland can be considered as the ideal locations for witnessing the 2024 T20 World Cup.
The Champions Trophy has been translocated to provide the USA another year for developing infrastructure that can host cricket tournaments. It is also expected that Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) might generate monetary compensation for shifting the trophy venue.
It should be considered that these changes in locations are only in the initial stages yet and have not been confirmed by the authorities.
