Here’s How to Save Your Data Before Apple Permanently Deletes My Photos Stream

Apple recently announced that the photos from the My Photos Stream will be deleted this month on 26^th July 2023.

According to the alert, the pictures saved in the library will remain saved. However, if your pictures are not saved in the library yet, follow the following steps to save them.

• Open Photos on iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
• Click on Albums.
• Click on ‘My Photo Stream’ and then go to ‘Select’.
• Select the photos you want to save and click on ‘Share’.
• Then click on the ‘Save Image’.

Follow the below-mentioned steps for your Mac.

• Open your Photos app.
• Open My Photo Stream album.
• Select all the photos that you want to save and that are not in your library.
• Now drag the photos from the My Photo Stream Album to the library.

Apple has also announced to shift the pictures to iCloud Photos. If your albums are already synced to iCloud, you do not need to worry.

• Open Settings.
• Click on your name.
• Go to iCloud.

On Mac,

• click on the Apple Menu and then click on the system settings.
• Now click on your name and tap iCloud.

In both cases, after clicking on iCloud, make sure it is “on” next to the Photos.

Save your albums before 26^th July by the mentioned steps.
