Bharat Jain, a beggar from Mumbai, has become incredibly wealthy despite not having a formal education or stable finances. He earns a significant amount of money each month, ranging between Rs 200,000-250,000, which surpasses the income of many professionals in India.
Jain has been begging in popular locations in Mumbai, such as Azad Maidan and the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus railway station, for many years. Through hard work and dedication, he manages to earn Rs 7,000 to Rs 9,500 per day by spending 10-12 hours on his begging profession.
Interestingly, Jain’s wealth goes beyond his earnings from begging. He owns a two-bedroom flat in Mumbai worth around Rs 4.4 crore. Additionally, he owns two shops in Thane that bring in a monthly rental income of Rs 100,000. Jain lives with his wife, two sons, brother, and father in a duplex apartment in the Parel area, which has one bedroom and a hall. His children have received their education from a prestigious convent school.
Even though Jain’s family, who runs a stationery shop, has urged him to stop begging, he continues with his chosen profession on the relatively prosperous streets of Mumbai.
