In India, torrential rains and flooded railways wreaked havoc, roads were destroyed and bridges washed away, 44 people died. North-western states were paralyzed, tourists were stranded due to the disruption of communication systems, and the army was called in for relief and rescue operations.

The smoky entry of the Monsoon in India, torrential rains, and heavy spells have created havoc, and many people have died due to floods and landslides in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, and Rajasthan.

In Delhi’s capital, the rain broke a 41-year record, knee-deep water-filled, educational institutions were closed, trains were canceled, and a big pothole was formed in front of India Gate.

According to the report, there is a high level of flood in the Yamuna River, it will overflow anytime, and people are being shifted to safe places.

Himachal Pradesh is the most affected by rains and landslides, a month’s worth of rain fell in one day, more than 700 roads were blocked, many bridges and houses were swept away by rails, and 500 people were trapped.

According to media reports, a red and orange alert has been issued for 24 hours. According to the authorities, a loss of 4 thousand crores has been done so far.

Orange alert continues in Uttarakhand, more rain is forecast today, people in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand have been advised not to step out of their homes unnecessarily.

Rains are also continuing in the Indian states of Gujarat, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Haryana, and Goa, more heavy rains are also predicted.

According to Indian media reports, 72 people have died due to rains during two weeks.
