A general downward trend has been recorded in the prices of ghee and edible oil in the country in June as compared to May.
According to the statistics of the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics, the average price of 5 kg of edible oil was recorded at Rs 3199.16 in June, which is 3.05% lower than that of May.
Similarly, the average price of two and a half kg Banaspati ghee in the country was recorded at Rs 1513.74 in June, which is 2.16% lower than that of May.
In June, the average price of one kilogram of ghee in the country was recorded at Rs 582.58, which is 3.30% less than May, the average price of one kilogram of ghee in the country was recorded at Rs 602.45
