The legendary football megastar, Cristiano Ronaldo won the hearts of his Muslim fans worldwide by greeting in the Islamic way with ‘Salam Alaikum’.
In a video posted by Al-Nassr, Ronaldo is seen at the Club’s training camp in Portugal. The video came with the caption “Here he is! Salam Alaikum from the best, joining his club’s camp.” The video crossed thousands of likes, shares, and comments.
The gesture reflecting his interest in the Muslim Culture was praised widely by the fans. It also displays respect and appreciation for the Saudi community by Ronaldo.
Earlier, Cristiano was also seen performing Sajdah with Al-Nassr Muslim footballers after scoring a goal. He took a low bow to the ground with his teammates cheering along with the fans in the stadium.
