Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology has announced a fully-funded internship for 2 – 6 months. The registration process is open now.
As a part of this Research Intern Program, selected individuals will work directly with OIST Professors and contribute to the university’s research activities in STEM fields.
Award Value
The following support will be provided.
- A per working day stipend of JPY 2,400 (non-taxable) will be provided. Weekends are not included.
- Commute allowance for OIST Shuttle pass will be provided.
- Furnished apartments will be provided on or off campus.
- One direct round-trip air ticket will also be covered.
Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria are the following.
- Students who are in the final 2 years of their undergraduate degree or master’s program.
- Recent graduates can also apply.
- Academic background must be relevant to the hot unit(s) at OIST.
