If you want to travel to multiple locations on a single nol card or ticket while in Dubai, getting a travel pass is your best bet. This pass, issued by Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), can be purchased online through the RTA’s ‘nol Pay’ app or at the nearest Metro station.
You can receive your travel pass on any type of nol card including blue, gold, or silver.
Single Trip Ticket
A red ticket, which is a ‘single trip ticket’, can also be purchased if you do not own a nol card or do not wish to buy one. The red ticket can be converted into a travel pass by a counter agent, allowing you to use the Metro for up to five trips for that day.
It is important to note that buses across the Emirates cannot be taken with a travel pass.
