The head of the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) visited a local Research and Development (R&D) center of a car company. They talked about making cars better. The company wants to create a small electric SUV in Pakistan and start selling it in 2025.
They also made a test version of an electric hatchback car called Nur-E 75. It has a strong electric engine and can go around 200 kilometers on one charge.
They plan to make it in 2024 and use parts from Pakistan for about 60% of the car. But the cost might change based on how the economy is doing.
