A group of skilled workers in Bahadurabad, Pakistan, recently finished creating two big Pakistani flags at Kokan Ground. These flags were really large, about 200 feet by 130 feet or 54 by 32 meters. It took them two days to carefully put them together.
They marked, cut, and sewed the white parts with the star and crescent onto the green part. Asim Nisar, the person in charge of the project, said it’s really important to follow the government’s rules about the flag’s size, colors, and proportions. He explained that making the flag properly is a matter of respect and pride.
The family known for making these big flags, led by Shaikh Nisar Parchum Walay, also called Baba-i-Parchum, is famous for making flags that break records. They made an even bigger flag in 2004, which was 540 feet by 320 feet, and it got into the Guinness Book of World Records.
Baba-i-Parchum talked about how important it is to keep the flag’s colors and size right. He said that the dark green color and the right size of the star are very important because they show what the flag stands for. It’s a way to keep the flag meaningful and respectful.
