Today was the reserved day for Pakistan vs. India’s Second Match, as we’re seeing the annoying rain from tomorrow from time to time in the R. Premadasa Stadium. The match which started yesterday at 02:30 pm became a nightmare for Pakistan Team and Pakistani fans as their fast bowling spell couldn’t stop what was coming that day.
Both Rohit Sharma and Shubham Gill started the innings with a stunning display of their batting skills where they faced Shaheen Shah Afridi, Naseem Shah, Haris Rauf, and many other bowlers with ease.
They both scored boundaries in every over & displayed a very beautiful batting view without fear of getting out. Rohit Sharma scored a total of 56 runs while playing 49 balls and got out by Shadab Khan. This was the first wicket for the Pakistani Team and a sigh of relaxation as they were seeing the chances & hopes of winning again.
But the Indian Cricket Team was just starting as they sent Virat Kohli the King in Rohit Sharma’s place to show why he was called the King of cricket. Virat Kohli came on the field with a winning spirit which he showed with his hitting power and batting skills.
While Virat Kohli was scoring a good score, suddenly Shubman Gill got out on his 52nd ball while scoring a total of 58 runs but the Indians were not letting Pakistan get a single chance or hope of winning.
They sent KL Rahul on the field to avenge Shubham Gill and score another hundred runs to give Pakistan a message of war. Both Virat Kohli and KL Rahul formed a partnership of 233 runs.
The reason why India scored a total of 356 runs was that they played without fear of getting out, which has been lacking in the Pakistan Team for a long time as we have seen in all their previous matches. Let’s hope that this time, the Pakistan Team can go beyond their power to achieve this target and make the whole of Pakistan proud again.
