Following Afghanistan’s historic victory over Pakistan at Chennai’s Chepauk Stadium, former Indian all-rounder Irfan Pathan celebrated with Afghanistan spinner Rashid Khan.
Afghanistan secured an eight-wicket win, marking their second triumph in the ongoing ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 and their first in ODIs against Pakistan.
After the match, Pathan, who works as a broadcaster, joined Rashid on the field to perform bhangra.
He later shared a message on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), where he wrote, “Rashid Khan kept his promise, and I kept mine. Great job, guys!”
