A female police officer (SHO) in Rawalpindi was fired because she stole money from someone’s purse at the police station and then tried to blackmail the person.
The decision to remove Inspector Irum Khanum from her position came after an investigation, which confirmed her guilt based on complaints from a person and a lady official named Anita Naseem, who had also been dismissed from her job.
The inquiry revealed that there was no connection between Anita and the person who filed the complaint.
