Addressing the Afghan government, the army chief said, “Ihsaan can be rewarded with something other than kindness. Those who have used religion as terrorism will have to answer. Islam is a religion of safety and tranquility. No group or party will be talked to. Negotiations will be between Pakistan and the interim government only.
The Army Chief said that the involvement of Afghan citizens is a threat to regional peace and stability and a violation of the Doha Peace Agreement, saying that those who want to destroy peace are not among us. According to Pakistani law, Afghan refugees must reside in Pakistan.
Gen. Asim Munir said that the Pakistani army is an army of martyrs, which is “faith, piety, jihad in the name of Allah, those who do not want to destroy peace are not among us, all the security agencies and the people of Pakistan are one. Pakistan is the second state built on words after the state of Medina, in the world. No power can do anything to Pakistan.
