Bahrain Airport offers transit passengers a free city tour, allowing them to explore the city during their layover. The initiative was announced by Gulf Air, Bahrain Airport Company, and Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority. The offer is valid for layovers between 5 and 24 hours. It started from July 5, 2023.
Passengers can enjoy Bahrain’s landmarks and historical hotspots during the tour. Gulf Air, BAC, and Bahrain Tourism & Exhibitions Authority have come together to provide this service, with transportation arranged by Kanoo Travel. The aim is to benefit those spending hours at the Airport.
Dr. Nasser Qaedi, CEO of the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority, assures a comprehensive tourism program based on the layover duration. The tour includes entertainment options, heritage sites, and major tourist attractions. It will enhance the overall experience for travelers.
