In reality, the Arabic writing on the woman’s garment was the word “Halwa,” which translates to “beautiful or sweet.” Recognizing the potential danger the woman was in, the Punjab Police, led by ASP Syeda Shehrbano Naqvi, acted swiftly.
They arrived at the scene promptly, rescued the woman from the hostile crowd, and took her into custody to ensure her safety.
Amid the tense situation, Johnson, a local shop owner, demonstrated remarkable courage and compassion. Despite the risks involved, he provided refuge to the woman in his shop, offering her a safe haven until the police arrived.
