General Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) met the school going children of martyrs on the occasion of ‘Youm-e-Takreen Shuada-e-Pakistan’ to pay tribute to the honorary martyrs of country. The event took place at Pakistan Military General Headquarters, Rawalpindi.
The Gen addressed the students stating that their relationship with army is meritorious and will last long for they are the children of Pakistan’s martyrs. “Pakistan Army will stand united with you,” said COAS.
He further mentioned that the whole nation is celebrating Youm-e-Takreen Shuhada-e-Pakistan on 25th May to ay homage to the brave souls who sacrificed their lives to protect Pakistan.
The event was attended by the major army personnel including Chief of Army Staff, Gen Asim Munir, Former COAS, Qamar Javed Bajwa, previous Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff committee General, Nadeem Raza, Babar Azam, families of martyrs, Mufti Muneeb, students, and law enforcement officials.
