The British Wildlife Department is looking for a person who is ready to spend 13 months on one of the world’s remotest islands.
The job seeker will have to do bird counting, monitoring and other field work on the deserted island, which will be able to estimate the bird population.
According to the BBC, the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB) has issued a job advertisement for a new field officer on the island of Gough.
This British territory is about 1500 miles from Africa in the South Atlantic.
According to the advertisement, the employee who gets a job will be paid 25,000 pounds (9.2 million rupees) to 27,000 pounds (more than 9.9 million Pakistani rupees) annually.
To get this job, the applicant should have a science degree or experience in this field and also have the determination to work for several hours on this deserted island to monitor birds.
Employees employed on the island are also provided pension, life insurance and 26 days of annual leave.
Experts believe that due to extreme weather and inadequate facilities, staying on this island for a long time is no less than a challenge for anyone.
