The China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) has announced job opportunities for male and female candidates on a contract basis. The positions are initially for a contract period of two years, with the possibility of extension. CPEC, a semi-governmental organization, collaborates with federal and provincial governments, as well as third-party entities like UNICEF and UNESCO, to support various components, including education.
Positions Available:
- District Coordinator (BPS-17): Both male and female candidates are invited to apply. The eligibility criteria include an MBA/MPH/MA/MSc in any subject with a second division and a minimum of 10 years of administration or management/education/fieldwork experience. Alternatively, candidates with five years of experience with multinational organizations can also apply.
- Coordinator (BPS-17): This position is open to female candidates only. Applicants must hold an M.Phil. in Education or a Master’s degree in any subject with a second division, along with NGO experience in a relevant field.
- Education Officer (BPS-17): Female candidates are encouraged to apply. The eligibility criteria include an MEd/Master’s degree in any subject with a second division and a minimum of five years of relevant teaching experience. Knowledge of computer skills is also required.
- Monitoring Officer (BPS-17): This position is open to female candidates only. Applicants must hold a Master’s degree with a second division and have seven years of relevant education experience. Alternatively, candidates with a Bachelor’s degree and ten years of experience can also apply.
- Field Officer (BPS-15): Female candidates are invited to apply.
- JEST (BPS-14): Both junior elementary school teachers (male and female) can apply for this position.
- PST (BPS-14): Primary school teachers (male and female) are encouraged to apply.
- Social Organizer (BPS-11): Both male and female candidates with a Master’s degree and five years of relevant field experience can apply.
- Social Mobilizer (BPS-11): Male and female candidates with a Master’s degree or graduation and five years of relevant field experience are eligible to apply.
Application Process:
Interested candidates meeting the eligibility criteria can apply for the respective positions by email. They should submit their applications along with a photograph, CNIC copy, and indicate the position they are applying for. The closing date for applications is April 20, 2024.
Note: Relaxation of the upper age limit will be allowed as per the Government of Sindh’s policy. Candidates already in government service should apply through proper channels.
Selection Process:
The selection process will include a written test for shortlisting candidates. Selected candidates will be posted in educational sectors across various divisions in Sindh.
