Dubai Police has added a luxury Bentley Continental GT V8 to its fleet of supercars. The expensive vehicle was acquired from Al Habtoor Motors and joins the existing Continental GT in their lineup.
The new model vaunts a 4.0-liter V8 engine with 542 horsepower having the capability of accelerating from 0 to 100 kph in under 3.9 seconds. The top speed recorded is 198 mph. Its remarkable active all-wheel drive system provides rear-wheel drive in normal conditions while switching to all-wheel drive upon detecting any wheel slip.
Dubai’s remarkable supercar fleet also includes other luxury brands like Mercedes, Aston Martins, Maseratis, and Cadillacs. The fleet patrols popular tourist destinations throughout the city and is also showcased at national events held in Dubai.
The Director General of the Department of Criminal Investigation, Major General Al Jallaf, stressed the fact these high-end vehicles play an essential role in enhancing security in Dubai. The price of the Bentley Continental GT V8 in UAE ranges from Dh800,000 – Dh1,000,000.
