Dubai Municipality has announced registrations for the Future Talents Scholarship Program. The initiative aims to welcome UAE national university students graduating from scientific disciplines and providing them with amazing opportunities to foster their skills which will subsequently support the Emiratization policy in the Emirate of Dubai.
The Director of Human Resources Department, Aisha Al Hammadi stated that this program aims to put their wise leadership directives into practice. The program will broaden the scientific knowledge of the students and equip them with futuristic tools.
Disciplines
The specific disciplines mentioned in the program supports the municipality’s employment fields and therefore it will help strengthening the workforce sustainability. The disciplines included are:
- Civil engineering.
- Architectural engineering.
- Agricultural engineering and sciences.
- Public health.
- Environmental sciences.
- Sustainability and environmental health.
- Food security.
- Information systems with a specialization in business solutions and data science.
- Information technology with specialization in networking, application development, and cloud computing.
Requirements
Some conditions and requirements are mentioned below.
- Only UAE citizens are eligible to apply.
- The applicants must be enrolled in their 3rd or 4th academic year.
- The minimum CGPA must be 3.
- The applicants must not be availing themselves of more than one scholarship at the same time.
- Male applicants must have completed their national service.
