Emirates placed a significant order for 95 additional Boeing wide-body aircraft at the Dubai Airshow 2023, bringing its total order book to 295 aircraft.
The order, valued at $52 billion, includes additional Boeing 777-9s, 777-8s, and 787s.
With this, Emirates will become one of the launch customers of the 777-8 passenger variant, expecting the first deliveries in 2030.
The order will expand Emirates’ 777X backlog to 205 jets and increase its 787 order book to 35 jets.
