At a meeting held at the Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (KATI), Ambassador Jemal Beker Abdula introduced a compelling plan to strengthen economic connections between Pakistan and Ethiopia.
Abdula suggested offering Pakistani investors a ten-year tax exemption if they decide to start businesses in Ethiopia. This incentive not only allows them to export their products but also gives them access to the Ethiopian market.
The gathering was attended by well-known individuals like KATI President Johar Qandhari, Deputy Patron-in-Chief Zubair Chhaya, Senior Vice President Nighat Awan, Vice President Muslim Mohamedi, and Honorary Consul General of Ethiopia Ibrahim Tawab.
The participation of Economic Counselor of Ethiopia Kakidan Tadesse Tizazu, along with former KATI presidents Gulzar Firoz, Masood Naqi, and Ehtishamuddin, highlighted the importance of the meeting in promoting opportunities for trade between the two countries.
