Etihad Rail, in partnership with Arsenale, is set to introduce a train journey that celebrates Emirati culture and heritage. The agreement was signed during the Middle East Rail Exhibition and Conference in Abu Dhabi. The Etihad Rail made significant strides in enhancing its freight and passenger services.
Traversing the UAE bu connecting Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Fujairah, and Beyond
The train will traverse the UAE connecting Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Fujairah, and extending to Oman once the GCC Railway becomes operational. This partnership underscores Etihad Rail’s commitment to driving economic and social growth in the UAE.
The train will boast 15 refurbished carriages. These carriages will undergo a transformation in specialized factories located in Puglia and Sicily. The result will be exceptional quality, exquisite interior design, and impeccable onboard services.

In addition to this collaboration, Etihad Rail sealed several other agreements during the Middle East Rail events. These agreements include establishing a joint venture with DHL Global Forwarding. And partnering with integrated logistics provider MICCO, signing an MOU with Morocco’s national railway operator. Moreover, ONCF, collaborating with global technology company Uber, entering into an MOU with drone cargo specialist SkyGo, and securing a deal with the Fujairah Natural Resources Corporation (FNRC) to supervise mining facilities in Fujairah.
The inauguration of the National Rail Network earlier this year marked a significant milestone in revolutionizing travel within the UAE. It has connected all emirates, facilitating seamless journeys between residential, industrial, and commercial centers, as well as providing convenient access to key ports. The upcoming luxury train experience will further elevate the UAE’s travel offerings, embodying the essence of Emirati heritage and delivering unparalleled luxury to discerning travelers.
