The first group of 720 Pakistani pilgrims has arrived in Jeddah, kicking off Pakistan’s Pre-Hajj flight operations. So far, by May 23, a total of 34,316 Pakistanis have already reached Madinah. From May 24 to June 9, an additional 34,422 pilgrims are scheduled to be flown to Jeddah on 114 flights.
These pilgrims are departing from major cities like Islamabad and Karachi as part of the Makkah Route initiative. This initiative is designed to simplify the immigration process, making it faster and easier for the pilgrims to move to their accommodations upon arrival.
This year, Pakistan has a Hajj quota of 179,210 pilgrims. The Hajj pilgrimage, which is one of the largest religious gatherings in the world, is set to take place from June 14 to June 19. This massive movement of people is organized to ensure that all Pakistani pilgrims can fulfill their religious duties smoothly and comfortably.
