A historic milestone was achieved as a four-member crew embarked on the Axiom-3 mission, a privately funded venture by Texas-based startup Axiom Space. Notably, this mission marked Turkey’s entry into space exploration with its first astronaut as part of the crew. Autonomously docking with the International Space Station (ISS) over the South Pacific, the crew’s arrival at the ISS highlighted the capability of private companies like SpaceX to contribute to space endeavors.
