On Sunday, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) stated that flights at the Gwadar International Airport will now be able to land at night.All airlines and aviation businesses have received instructions from the CAA in this regard for the start of operations in September.However, it was made clear that overnight aircraft parking would not be permitted.
China and Pakistan Aviation Authority (PAA) are building the airport as part of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).The ATR 72, Airbus A-300, Boeing 737, and Boeing 747 will all be able to land at the New Gwadar International Airport (NGIA) for both internal and international flights.The ‘largest’ airport in Pakistan is anticipated to formally open for international travel in September of this year.
Federal construction Minister Ahsan Iqbal gave CAA instructions in March to finish all airport construction projects by September 2023. Additionally, he requested that the authority provide a plan of action for the execution and implementation of the remaining responsibilities within three days.
