The Ministry of National Defense of China has announced its participation in the upcoming Pakistan National Day military parade on March 23.
After accepting an invitation from the Pakistani army, the Chinese military will send a contingent of the Guard of Honor of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA).
To ensure the parade’s smooth execution, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has announced the closure of all hiking trails in Islamabad till March 23. Therefore, Trails 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 will be closed to the public from 5 am to 5 pm from March 19 to March 23.
The closure is due to Parade Day preparations, and the public is requested to comply with the decision to avoid any inconvenience during these days. The CDA stated that the public will be allowed to access these trails following Parade Day.
