The Ministry of Religious Affairs has announced that pilgrims who performed Hajj last year will receive a refund of approximately Rs40,000. However, the exact refund amount may differ slightly depending on the category under which the pilgrim traveled.
Minister Chaudhry Salik Hussain shared this update, adding that the government is committed to improving facilities for pilgrims in the upcoming Hajj season while keeping costs the same as last year. He highlighted that significant upgrades will be made to the accommodations in Mina. Instead of the tents equipped with air coolers that were provided previously, pilgrims will now be housed in air-conditioned gypsum accommodations for greater comfort.
Furthermore, like last year, meals will be delivered directly to the pilgrims’ residences to ensure convenience. The government aims to make the pilgrimage experience more comfortable and hassle-free for all participants this year.
