The Health Department of Gilgit-Baltistan has announced job vacancies for its Mental Health Care initiatives in three divisions of the region. These positions are open for candidates with relevant qualifications and experience who hold a domicile of Gilgit-Baltistan. The vacancies are offered under the Project Pay Scale (PPS) for a period of two years.

The Health Department is seeking eligible candidates for the following positions:
- Clinical Psychologist (PPS-07)
- Qualifications: BS/MS in Psychology, Diploma in Clinical Psychology
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience
- Locations: RHQ Hospital Skardu, Psychiatry Hospital Gilgit, RHQ Hospital Chilas, DHQ Hospital Ghakuch
- Number of Posts: 4
- Fixed Pay: Rs. 90,000 per month
- Psychotherapist (PPS-07)
- Qualifications: BS/MS in Psychology
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience working with mentally ill patients
- Locations: RHQ Hospital Skardu, Psychiatry Hospital Gilgit
- Number of Posts: 2
- Fixed Pay: Rs. 90,000 per month
- Nurse (PPS-06)
- Qualifications: BSc Nursing from a recognized institute
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in patient care; experience in a mental health facility is preferred
- Locations: RHQ Hospital Skardu, Psychiatry Hospital Gilgit
- Number of Posts: 2
- Fixed Pay: Rs. 60,000 per month
Terms and Conditions for Applicants
- Contract Basis: The appointment is strictly on a contract basis for the duration of the project. It can be terminated at any time depending on the candidate’s performance.
