Areas including Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Punjab are likely to experience dust storms and thunderstorms, offering much-needed relief from the intense heat.
In Karachi and coastal Sindh, dust storms are expected on May 28-29. The PMD has advised farmers to take precautions with their crops and warned about potential disruptions due to dust storms and lightning strikes.
While temperatures will decrease in the northern parts of the country, central and southern regions will still be 3-4°C above normal. The public is advised to avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight to prevent heat-related illnesses.
