The Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan has announced multiple job openings under the PSDP-funded development project titled “Prime Minister’s Laptop Scheme.” These positions are open to Pakistani nationals and will be filled on a contract basis. HEC is offering positions at various levels, each with attractive salaries and requirements:
- Project Director (PPS-10)
- Salary: Rs. 437,500/month (all-inclusive)
- Quota: Merit-based (1 position)
- Qualification: Master’s degree with 12 years of experience, including 5 years in a managerial role.
- Maximum Age: 55 years
- Regional Coordinator (PPS-09)
- Salary: Rs. 306,250/month (all-inclusive)
- Quota: Punjab (1), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (1)
- Qualification: Master’s/Bachelor’s degree with 7 years of experience, including 3 years in project management.
- Maximum Age: 50 years
- Project Manager (PPS-08)
- Salary: Rs. 218,750/month (all-inclusive)
- Quota: Punjab (1)
- Qualification: Master’s/Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience, including 3 years in a managerial role.
- Maximum Age: 50 years
- Project Officer (PPS-07)
- Salary: Rs. 157,500/month (all-inclusive)
- Quota: Punjab (1), Sindh (Rural) (1)
- Qualification: Master’s/Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of relevant experience.
- Maximum Age: 40 years
- Accounts Officer (PPS-07)
- Salary: Rs. 157,500/month (all-inclusive)
- Quota: Merit-based (1 position)
- Qualification: MBA (Finance)/M.Com/ICMA with 3 years of relevant experience.
- Maximum Age: 40 years
Application Process
- Candidates must apply online via HEC’s career portal.
- No hard copies of CVs or documents are required.
- A non-refundable application fee of Rs. 600 must be deposited online in HEC’s designated bank account.
Selection Process
- Tests will be conducted in Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Quetta, and Peshawar.
- Interviews for outstation candidates will be conducted via audio/video conferencing.
