Zaman Khan’s story is truly inspiring! He started from humble beginnings, working as a laborer with his father and brother. But his love for cricket led him to discover the game while watching people play tape ball cricket on a local ground. Even though he bowled 12 consecutive wide balls in his first over, he didn’t give up and practiced tirelessly to improve his skills.
Zaman’s dedication was so strong that he would even take leave from Madrasa to play cricket, even when he wasn’t feeling well. He participated in under-16 trials in Mirpur and got selected based on his performance with the tape ball. Despite facing challenges and initially lacking support from his family, he never gave up on his cricketing dreams.
His hard work paid off when he won the Best Emerging Talent award during his first season in the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
