Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi earlier stated that mobile data and Wi-Fi services would only be suspended in areas facing security concerns. In other regions, services would continue as usual.
Reports have also revealed that internet services were affected in other major cities, including Lahore and Faisalabad. The disruptions impacted access to popular social media platforms such as Facebook, YouTube, and WhatsApp, particularly in the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad.

Authorities have not yet provided a clear timeline for when internet services will be fully restored across all affected areas.
