Karachi Expo Centre witnessed an extravagant event on November 21, 2023, marking the thrilling kick-off of Season 3 of the Karachi Tape-ball Premier League (KTPL). The grand affair, graced by the esteemed Chief Guest Muhammad Kamran Khan Tessori, the Governor of Sindh, set the stage for a cricketing spectacle.
Mr. Zohair Naseer, the Chairman of KTPL, welcomed the audience with enthusiasm, initiating the tone for the upcoming season. Cricket legends Javed Miandad, Haroon Rasheed, and Mushtaq Muhammad added to the excitement with insightful speeches, sharing their experiences and perspectives.
Moreover, Chief Guest Muhammad Kamran Khan Tessori emphasized the league’s significance in shaping Pakistan’s cricketing landscape, highlighting the vital role of such sporting events in the country. The league comprises of eight teams, each backed by influential entities: Clifton Popular, Malir Malangs, Johar Jawans, DHA Dabanggs, North Nawabs, Karachi Knights, Gulshan Gohar, and Liyari Legends.
