To facilitate the implementation of this ambitious program, multiple Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) have been signed between provincial departments and relevant institutions.

The official launch ceremony took place at the Chief Minister’s House and brought together various stakeholders, including provincial cabinet members, the Chairman of the Higher Education Commission, administrative secretaries, representatives from partnering organizations, journalists, and students.

During the event, Chief Minister Syed Arshad Hussain Shah addressed the pressing issue of youth unemployment, emphasizing the urgency of taking action within the limited timeframe of the caretaker government. While reiterating the government’s commitment to ensuring peaceful general elections, he emphasized the parallel focus on public welfare initiatives.

The Chief Minister highlighted the significance of the Human Resource Export Strategy, emphasizing its potential to positively impact youth employment.

The Training and Employment Program, as part of this broader strategy, aims to equip at least five hundred thousand youth with market-driven skills, specifically targeting overseas employment. The initial phase of the program aims to train and place over one hundred thousand individuals in both local and international job markets.

The Chief Minister commended the Task Force and other stakeholders for the successful launch of the program, expressing confidence in their continued efforts for its success. Other notable speakers at the event, including caretaker provincial ministers and the Chairman of the Higher Education Commission, emphasized the importance of such initiatives in addressing unemployment issues among the youth.

This comprehensive program signifies a dedicated effort to tackle youth unemployment by providing practical skills and creating employment opportunities.

The commitment and multi-sectoral approach aim to make a substantial impact on the province’s youth, aligning with the broader governmental objective of achieving socioeconomic development. The program is expected to play a pivotal role in enhancing the employability of the youth and fostering economic growth in the region.
