Major Drop in PTA Tax on these iPhones

If you’re thinking about buying an iPhone in Pakistan, you need to know the prices, including the taxes set by the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA). The government has changed the taxes on the new iPhone 14 Series.

iPhones have become really expensive, but many people still want to have one, especially professionals and business folks who like luxurious and high-tech phones.

Before, the government kept raising the prices of iPhones and putting heavy taxes on them. This made buyers unhappy, and fewer iPhones were being bought. But this time, the government has reduced the taxes on the iPhone 14 Series.

The taxes have gone down by about 10 to 20% on all iPhone 14 models, like iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14 Plus, and Pro Max. The tax differences are between Rs 9,074 and Rs 31,562 if you use a passport, and between Rs 29,832 and Rs 34,901 if you use your CNIC.

Even the tax on the iPhone 14 has gone down a lot. It used to be Rs 134,825, but now it’s Rs 125,751 with a passport. And if you use your CNIC, it used to be Rs 160,958, but now it’s Rs 131,126.

And now, you can buy iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14 Plus, and Pro Max at much lower prices too. This new tax rule is great news for people who have iPhones that weren’t approved by PTA. If you’re thinking of getting the latest iPhone 14, this might be a good time.

The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) is the group that sets the taxes on iPhones and other phones. The tax depends on the phone’s value and is added to the final price. This tax affects businesses, customers, and the economy. It makes iPhones more expensive and has hurt businesses that import and sell iPhones in Pakistan.

Unfortunately, these taxes also make it hard for regular people to afford iPhones. People have always wanted lower taxes to make iPhones more affordable for everyone.
